Tarique Rahman has become the undisputed leader of the people: Minister

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has passed the test of time and has become the undisputed leader of the people, Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan has said.

He said that the Prime Minister has earned this position with human values ​​and determination.

He said these things in his speech as the chief guest at a programme organized at the seminar room of the National Theatre of the Shilpakala Academy in the capital today (February 24).

The programme was organized to mark the launch of the book 'Undisputed Tarique Rahman', a collection of 19 articles written in 2013, edited by Tarique Choyon.

The Information Minister said, 'The word undisputed is not an eternal word; it has to be achieved and protected through action. Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has proven it in his long political journey. As a legacy of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, he has acquired these human qualities and values ​​from the family level.'

Swapan further said that it was only because of his personal determination and human qualities that a flesh-and-blood person could survive so many ups and downs and adversities. He believes that Tarique Rahman will maintain public trust with his human values.

State Minister for Culture Ali Newaz Mahmood Khyom was the special guest at the event. Eminent educationist Dr. Yusuf Haider Chowdhury, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Rezauddin Stalin and others were present. The editor of the book, Tarique Choyon, spoke at the time.

The collection titled 'Undisputed Tarique Rahman' contains the writings of 19 of the country's talented teachers, writers, thinkers, politicians and freedom fighters. The book provides a detailed analysis of the Prime Minister's colorful political life, his philosophy, ideals, dreams and plans for running the state.
