Independent candidate Dr Tasnim Jara has received the football symbol for the Dhaka-9 constituency. She collected the symbol on Wednesday, January 21, from the Dhaka Divisional Election Office. On January 10, the Election Commission (EC) had validated Tasnim Zara’s nomination for the Thirteenth National Parliament elections as an independent candidate. Earlier, on Monday, she had filed an appeal with the EC against the cancellation of her nomination papers. Tasnim Jara applied for football as her preferred symbol as an independent candidate.

ঢাকা-৯ আসনে স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী ডা. তাসনিম জারা ফুটবল প্রতীক পেয়েছেন। বুধবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) দুপুরে ঢাকা বিভাগীয় কার্যালয় থেকে তিনি প্রতীক সংগ্রহ করেন। ১০ জানুয়ারি নির্বাচন কমিশন (ইসি) তাসনিম জারার ত্রয়োদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনে স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী হিসেবে মনোনয়নপত্র বৈধ ঘোষণা করেছিল। এর আগে তিনি মনোনয়নপত্র বাতিলের বিরুদ্ধে ইসিতে আপিল দাখিল করেছিলেন। স্বতন্ত্র প্রার্থী হিসেবে তাসনিম জারা প্রতীক হিসেবে ফুটবল পছন্দের জন্য আবেদন করেছিলেন।
