Teacher hacked to death in Satkhira; attacker killed in mob beating
A madrasa teacher was brutally killed in an attack with a sharp weapon in Tala upazila of Satkhira. The attacker was also killed by mob beating at the scene. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon, July 20, in Shahapur village of Khesra Union.
The deceased teacher was Shariful Gazi, son of the late Maulana Alimuddin Gazi of Harihar village. The attacker, Raju Gazi (36), was reportedly mentally unstable and the son of Mostafa alias Khokon Gazi from the same village.
According to former chairman of Khesra Union, S.M.
