Teens stabbed to death during Victory Day event in Chapainawabganj

Two people were killed, and four others injured in a stabbing incident during a victory day cultural event at Nachole Upazila in Chapainawabganj.

The incident occurred around 11.00 pm on Tuesday (December 17) in Mallikpur village of Fatehpur Union.

The deceased were identified as Masud Ali (17), son of Ejabul from Kholshi village in Nachole Upazila, and Raihan (16), son of Abdur Rahim from the same area.

Md Monirul Islam, Nachole Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC), said, "Two people were killed, and four others injured in the stabbing. Among the injured, three received primary treatment and went home, while one was sent to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital."

Chapainawabganj Superintendent of Police Rezaul Karim said, "The incident happened following an argument during the Victory Day cultural program. The matter is under investigation, and those involved will be brought to justice."
