This year's SSC results reflect students' true performance: Dhaka Board Chairman
The results of the 2025 SSC and equivalent examinations are a true reflection of student performance, without any external influence or manipulation, said Professor Dr Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and head of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.
Speaking at a meeting held at the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board office on Thursday afternoon (July 10), Dr Kabir stated, "This year's results reveal the real picture. No one was instructed to award extra marks. We did not face any pressure from any side. The examiners were clearly told to evaluate the answer scripts properly and fairly."
He added that the board took a firm stance on transparency and integrity during the evaluation process. "We are not commenting on what may have happened in the past. But the data and results shared this year are authentic and based strictly on merit," he emphasized.
Notably, unlike previous years, no formal ceremony was held to announce the SSC results.
The 2025 SSC and equivalent exams were conducted under nine education boards across the country, starting on April 10 and ending on May 13. A total of 19,28,970 students, including both regular and irregular candidates, participated in the examinations—about one lakh fewer than the previous year.
