At least three people were injured in a clash between customers and the authorities of a filling station in Aditmari Upazila of Lalmonirhat District on Sunday afternoon. The incident took place at Fatema Filling Station around 3:00 pm. Witnesses said customers were waiting in line for fuel when the station manager attempted to leave for lunch. A customer tried to refuel independently, triggering an argument that escalated into a physical clash. Locals alleged that crude weapons were used during the altercation. A video of the incident went viral on social media, showing an injured customer seeking help from police. Police said they brought the situation under control after arriving at the scene and ensured fuel supply resumed.

লালমনিরহাটের আদিতমারী উপজেলার ‘ফাতেমা ফিলিং স্টেশনে’ তেল নেওয়াকে কেন্দ্র করে মালিকপক্ষ ও ক্রেতাদের মধ্যে সংঘর্ষের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। এতে তিনজন গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন। রোববার (২৯ মার্চ) বিকাল ৩টার দিকে এ ঘটনা ঘটে বলে জানা গেছে। প্রত্যক্ষদর্শীরা জানান, স্টেশনে ক্রেতারা লাইনে দাঁড়িয়ে তেল নিচ্ছিলেন। এ সময় ফিলিং স্টেশনের ম্যানেজার দুপুরের খাবার খেতে যেতে চাইলে একজন ক্রেতা নিজে হাতে তেল নেওয়ার চেষ্টা করেন। এ নিয়ে উত্তেজনার সৃষ্টি হয় এবং পরে উভয়পক্ষের মধ্যে মারামারি শুরু হয়। এ সময় দেশীয় অস্ত্রও ব্যবহার করা হয় বলে অভিযোগ রয়েছে। ঘটনার ভিডিও সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যমে ছড়িয়ে পড়লে এলাকায় ব্যাপক সমালোচনা শুরু হয়। ভিডিওতে একজন রক্তাক্ত ক্রেতাকে পুলিশের কাছে সাহায্য চাইতে দেখা যায়। এ বিষয়ে পুলিশ জানায়, খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনা হয়। তবে তারা সেখানে কোনো চলমান মারামারি দেখতে পাননি বলে দাবি করেন। এসআই জাহাঙ্গীর বলেন, “আমরা গিয়ে পরিস্থিতি স্বাভাবিক করি এবং তেল সরবরাহ নিশ্চিত করি।”
