Three more children die with measles symptoms, over 1,000 infected in 24 hours

Three more children have died with measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours, according to a daily measles report published by the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday, June 11. During the same period, 1,110 new children showed symptoms of measles.

According to the health directorate's data, 550 children have died with measles symptoms since March 15. Additionally, 92 children have died after being confirmed with measles. The total number of child deaths now stands at 642.

From March 15 to date, a total of 83,139 children have shown measles symptoms across the country. During this period, 68,056 children were hospitalised with measles symptoms. Among them, 64,293 have recovered and returned home.

In the last 24 hours, 132 new children have been diagnosed with confirmed measles. During the same period, 1,057 children were hospitalised, and 1,148 children were discharged after recovery.
