Tikatuli fire brought under control after 2 hours

A fire that broke out early this morning at Mamun Plaza in Tikatuli was brought under control after two hours of firefighting efforts.

According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the blaze started around 5:00am on the third floor of the commercial building. Seven fire service units responded to the scene and successfully brought the fire under control by approximately 7:00am.

Shahjahan Mia, the duty officer at the fire service control room, confirmed the incident and the response timeline. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

Authorities stated that an assessment of the damages is underway, and further details will be shared once the investigation is complete. No casualties have been reported so far.
