Import-export operations through Tamabil land port in
Sylhet have been closed for the last 3 days due to server error.
Assistant director of Tamabil Land Port said Md Aminul
Haque confirmed this on Wednesday.
He said that due to the server error in India part of the
port, import-export has been stopped since September 30. But there is no
problem there (Bangladesh).
He said that appropriate authorities in India have been
contacted. Import-export operations will resume in full swing only after their
server issues are resolved. Hopefully, the problem will be solved this week.

সার্ভার ত্রুটির কারণে সিলেটের তামাবিল স্থলবন্দরে গত ৩ দিন আমদানি-রপ্তানি কার্যক্রম বন্ধ রয়েছে। বুধবার (২ অক্টোবর) তামাবিল স্থলবন্দরের সহকারী পরিচালক মো. আমিনুল হক বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। তিনি জানান, বন্দরের ভারত অংশের সার্ভার ত্রুটির কারণে ৩০ সেপ্টেম্বর থেকে আমদানি-রপ্তানি বন্ধ রয়েছে। তবে এপারে (বাংলাদেশ) কোনো সমস্যা নেই। তিনি বলেন, ভারতে যথাযথ কর্তৃপক্ষের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ করা হয়েছে। তাদের সার্ভারের সমস্যা সমাধান হলেই আমদানি-রপ্তানি কার্যক্রম পুরোদমে চালু হবে। আশা করছি, চলতি সপ্তাহেই সমস্যার সমাধান হবে।
