Train Collides with Sand Truck, Resulting in 4 Fatalities

At least four people, and four others were injured when a commuter train hit a sand-laden truck in Mymensingh.

He said dead body of the deceased sent to morgue for postmortem. The identities of the deceased individuals remain unknown.

Mymensingh Railway Station Master Nazmul Haque Khan said that the accident took place at Shambhuganj level crossing in the city around 1.30 pm Monday,25 December. At noon, a truck carrying sand came up at the level crossing. At that time, the Dhaka-bound Balaka commuter train hit the incident. Since then, rail communication on the Mymensingh-Netrakona route has been suspended.
