The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred two deputy commissioners serving in its Traffic and Crime divisions. The transfers were announced in an order signed by DMP Deputy Commissioner (Headquarters and Administration) Md Shahriar Ali on Sunday (September 6). Under the order, Md Anwar Saeed, deputy commissioner of the Traffic-Gulshan division, has been transferred to the Welfare and Force division as deputy commissioner. Md Zubayer, deputy commissioner of the Crime division, has been posted as deputy commissioner of the Traffic-Gulshan division. The DMP said the officials must complete the necessary formalities after joining their new posts. The order took immediate effect.

ঢাকা মেট্রোপলিটন পুলিশের (ডিএমপি) ট্রাফিক ও ক্রাইম বিভাগে দায়িত্বে থাকা দুই উপপুলিশ কমিশনারকে বদলি করা হয়েছে। রবিবার (৬ সেপ্টেম্বর) ডিএমপির উপপুলিশ কমিশনার (সদর দপ্তর ও প্রশাসন) মো. শাহরিয়ার আলী স্বাক্ষরিত এক আদেশে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়েছে। আদেশে বলা হয়েছে, ডিএমপির উপপুলিশ কমিশনার ( ট্রাফিক-গুলশান বিভাগ) মো. আনোয়ার সাঈদকে ওয়েলফেয়ার এন্ড ফোর্স বিভাগের উপপুলিশ কমিশনার এবং উপপুলিশ কমিশনার (ক্রাইম বিভাগ) মো. জুবায়েরকে (ট্রাফিক-গুলশান বিভাগ) উপপুলিশ কমিশনার করা হয়েছে। ডিএমপি জানায়, সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্মকর্তাদের নতুন কর্মস্থলে দায়িত্ব গ্রহণের পরবর্তী কার্যক্রম যথাযথভাবে সম্পন্ন করতে হবে। এ আদেশ অবিলম্বে কার্যকর হবে।
