Two Indian nationals detained at Sunamganj border
The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has detained two Indian nationals from the Banglabazar border in Doara Bazar, Sunamganj.
BGB members patrolling from the Maularpar area of the upazila arrested them on Friday morning (January 17).
The detainees include Maloch Garo and Karol Garo, sons of Bhupenda Garo from Daliabasti village in Saigram police station, East Khasi Hills district, Shillong, India.
Lieutenant Colonel Md. Hafizur Rahman, commander of BGB-48 Battalion, confirmed the matter to the media.
He said, "The two infiltrators will be transferred to the relevant police station."
