In the last 24 hours, two men have died due to dengue, while 326 new patients have been admitted to hospitals, according to a press release from the Directorate General of Health Services on Wednesday (June 25). The report said that the deaths occurred between 8.00am Tuesday and 8.00am Wednesday. Among the newly admitted patients, 255 are from outside Dhaka. This year, a total of 36 people have died of dengue, including 19 men and 17 women. The total number of dengue cases has reached 8,870, with 5,211 men and 3,659 women infected.

গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় ডেঙ্গুতে আক্রান্ত হয়ে দুইজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। একই সময় ৩২৬ জন নতুন রোগী হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হয়েছেন। বুধবার (২৫ জুন) স্বাস্থ্য অধিদপ্তরের সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানানো হয়। বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়েছে, গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় (মঙ্গলবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে বুধবার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত) মৃত্যু হয়েছে দুইজন পুরুষের। আক্রান্তদের মধ্যে ২৫৫ জন ঢাকার বাইরে থেকে। চলতি বছরে এখন পর্যন্ত ডেঙ্গুতে মোট ৩৬ জন মারা গেছেন, যাদের মধ্যে ১৯ জন পুরুষ এবং ১৭ জন নারী। এখন পর্যন্ত মোট আক্রান্ত রোগীর সংখ্যা ৮ হাজার ৮৭০, যার মধ্যে ৫ হাজার ২১১ জন পুরুষ এবং ৩ হাজার ৬৫৯ জন নারী।
