Two passengers killed as two launches collide at Sadarghat

At least two people have been killed after being crushed between two launches while trying to board via trawler at Sadarghat in the capital.

The incident occurred on Wednesday evening, March 18, the sixth day of the Eid journey.

According to sources, while passengers were being boarded onto a launch using a trawler, MV Jaker-3 struck from behind, crushing two people to death on the spot.

Two people are still missing following the incident.
