UK increases all visa and citizenship fees
The UK Home Office has announced that all visa and citizenship application fees will increase from April 8.
Under the new rates, a visit visa for up to six months will increase by £6 to £135, a two-year visit visa by £31 to £506, a five-year visit visa by £55 to £903, and a ten-year visit visa by £69 to £1,128.
Academic visit visas for 6-12 months will increase by £14 to £234, with private medical treatment visas increasing at the same rate. Transit visa fees will rise by £2.5 for airports and £4.5 for land borders.
Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) fees will increase by £4. Visa fees for those entering the UK as victims of torture in their home country will rise by £197.
For skilled worker sponsorship applications from outside the UK, fees will rise by £50 for up to three years and £99 for over three years. For skilled healthcare workers, fees will increase by £20 for up to three years and £38 for over three years. Seasonal worker application fees will rise by £21.
Student visa fees for applicants and their dependants will increase by £34 to £558. For skilled worker sponsorship applications from within the UK, fees will rise by £58 for up to three years and £114 for over three years. Additionally, the fee for extending visit visa durations has been increased by £72.
