Unidentified woman's body found under Chapulia Bridge in Gazipur

The body of an unidentified woman was discovered floating in the water beneath Chapulia Bridge in Gazipur City Corporation’s Ward No. 24 on Saturday morning (August 9).

Locals noticed the body around 10:00am while crossing the nearby railway bridge.

According to resident Lokman Hossain, the body was spotted by passersby, and soon after, hundreds gathered at the scene. Authorities have yet to confirm the woman's identity.

Gazipur Sadar Metro Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mehedi Hasan confirmed that police were dispatched to the location following the discovery, but no further details have been released.
