Urgent instruction for all educational institutions
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has instructed not to hold any test examinations until further notice is received regarding the HSC examination. The board said that the schedule for the selection examination will be announced later through a circular.
For now, regular classes have been instructed to continue.
The information was disclosed in a directive signed by Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haidar, Controller of Examinations of Dhaka Board, on Sunday, November 9.
The directive states that regular classes will continue for the students of Class 12 intending to appear in the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination. It requested institutions not to hold the selection examination until further instructions are given.
The directive also mentions that the date of the selection examination will be announced later through an official notice. The board marked the issue as highly urgent.
