Vehicles set on fire in 5 places across the country
Vehicles were set on fire in five places across the country, including the capital Dhaka.
These incidents took place from Wednesday night to Thursday morning. However, no casualties were reported.
According to news published in various newspapers and police information, a human hauler-Laguna parked in front of the capital's Kamalapur railway station was set on fire on Wednesday at 2:45 am. A bus parked in Rawail of Tangail was set on fire at 2:30 am. A truck parked in front of a paper mill in Gazaria of Munshiganj was set on fire after 3:30am. A Pajero and a pickup parked next to the Public Works Office in Gopalganj were set on fire. In addition, a truck caught fire in Shariatpur's Jajira. A pickup parked in front of the Public Works Office in Gopalganj was set on fire at 4:45 am today.
Meanwhile, 20 clandestine attacks were reported across the country, including Dhaka, from midnight on Tuesday to 1 am on Wednesday. Among them, a bank, 10 buses, a train and an auto-rickshaw were set on fire, cocktail explosions were carried out at five places and petrol bombs were thrown at two places.
