Viva voce of 44th BCS postponed

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has postponed the viva voce of the 44th BCS examination till August 5.

This decision was made at a special meeting of PSC on Monday (July 29), said PSC Public Relations Officer SM Motiur Rahman.

He told reporters that the rescheduled date for the postponed viva voce examination will be announced later.

According to the notification of 44th BCS, 1,710 officers will be appointed in different cadres in this batch. Of them, 250 people will be appointed in administration cadre, 50 in police cadre, 10 in foreign affairs cadre, 14 in ansar cadre, 30 in audit and accounts cadre, 11 in tax cadre, eight in cooperatives, seven in railway transport and commercial, 10 in information cadre, 23 in postal, six in commerce, 27 in family planning, three in food, 485 in technical cadre and 776 in education cadre.

Meanwhile, the 46th BCS written exam is scheduled to begin on August 28, but it may be postponed. It is said that this decision may come in a special meeting on Monday (July 29).
