Wahiduddin's remarks on elections clarified as his ‘personal opinion’
Planning and Education Adviser Professor Dr. Wahiduddin Mahmud's comments on the national election and the politically elected government, made on Saturday (December 7), have been clarified as his "personal opinion," according to Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Apurba Jahangir.
At a press conference on Sunday (December 8) evening at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital, Apurbo Jahangir stated, "Adviser Wahiduddin Mahmud expressed his personal opinion regarding the election. He mentioned that elections might be held next year, but this is solely his personal view."
At an event in the capital on Saturday (December 7), Adviser Wahiduddin said, "We may witness a politically elected government next year. However, this is just my personal opinion, and I’m uncertain about what will actually happen."
