We want to build a corruption-free Bangladesh: Jamaat Ameer
Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “We want to build a corruption-free Bangladesh through honest and competent leadership. We want to make this country one of the most livable countries in the world. We want to build a Bangladesh of harmony. Where people will get full rights.”
He said this while addressing a road meeting at Malibagh intersection in Narail Sadar Upazila at 11:30 am on Sunday (December 1).
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, “Jamaat wants to establish justice in this country. From cleaners to the President, everyone wants to live with security and dignity, regardless of party affiliation. At the end of the day, even though their (Awami League) leaders and workers have changed their fates with illegal money, the fate of the common people of the country has not changed.”
He also said, “I don’t want to see anyone else who is as extortionist and oppressor as the fascist government. "We want to live with dignity in a Bangladesh free from discrimination and corruption. We want to build a tolerant and humane Bangladesh. We want to turn the hands of every youth into the hands of workers."
