Woman dies amid severe heat in Narail

A woman named Lovely Begum, 55, has died in Narail after falling ill due to intense heat. The incident took place in the Machimdia area of ​​Narail town on Monday morning (April 20).

The deceased Lovely Begum is the wife of Daud Molya of Auria village in Sadar upazila.

According to family and local sources, she went out to buy daily necessities in the Machimdia area of ​​Narail town in the morning. On the way back, she fell ill due to intense heat and suddenly lost consciousness in front of the Machimdia mosque. Locals rushed her to Narail Sadar Hospital, where doctors declared her dead after conducting tests.

Auria Union Parishad member Osman Sheikh confirmed the matter.

Doctors believe that she may have died of heatstroke due to extreme heat. The body is currently kept in the hospital morgue.
