The incident occurred around 3:30 am on Friday, May 15, in Goainaghat upazila.

According to police and local sources, Dilara Begum's son, Md Ambia, has been living in Oman for a long time as an expatriate worker. His wife and daughter lived at home. In the early hours, several miscreants broke down the door and entered the house, attempting to take away the teenage girl.
