Xiaomi launches home appliances in Bangladesh to redefine smart living
Global technology leader Xiaomi has introduced its new home appliance products in Bangladesh for the first time. The launch was celebrated at an event themed 'Xiaomi Smart Living for Everyone' held at the Sheraton in Banani on Monday, May 4 . With this move, the brand aims to position itself as a provider of a complete smart lifestyle ecosystem, moving beyond its strong presence in the smartphone market.
Widely recognised for smartphone and AIoT innovation, Xiaomi is strengthening its presence in Bangladesh's home and lifestyle category to meet the rising demand for smart, connected living. Ranked number one among Chinese global consumer electronics brands, Xiaomi leads the world's consumer AIoT market with over one billion connected devices . The brand also ranks as the world's third-largest smartphone vendor, while Xiaomi TV placed in the top five for global shipments in 2025.
Expanding this vision locally, Xiaomi has now entered the smart home care segment with the launch of the Mijia Front Load Washer Dryer 10.5kg, priced at Tk 74,999. Built for busy households, it can wash and dry clothes in just 59 minutes.
For entertainment, the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED Series features QD-Mini LED technology, offering up to 1200 nits brightness, a 144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for a cinematic experience. The 98-inch variant is priced at Tk 499,999, the 85-inch at Tk 245,999, the 75-inch at Tk 179,999, the 65-inch at Tk 139,999, and the 55-inch at Tk 103,999.
The company also launched the Xiaomi TV A Pro Series 2026, featuring 4K UHD display and Google TV. Its 75-inch variant is priced at Tk 153,999, the 65-inch at Tk 114,999, the 55-inch at Tk 84,999, and the 43-inch at Tk 52,999.
Additionally, the brand introduced a range of lifestyle-focused products, including an air fryer (6.5L and 6L), a smart air purifier 4 compact and lite, Xiaomi smart cameras C201 and C301, outdoor smart cameras, and the Xiaomi smart tag for enhanced security, wellness and convenience.
Speaking at the launch, Ziauddin Chowdhury, Country Manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh, said, "Xiaomi holds a strong global position in home appliances, and we are bringing that same level of innovation officially to Bangladesh. Today's customers are looking beyond individual gadgets; they seek technology that improves their everyday lives.
