A youth named Naeem, 19, died after drinking pesticide in Hazaribagh police station area of ​​the capital. The incident took place around 12am at a house next to Rana Bakery in Madhubazar in Sanatangarh area on Saturday (April 12). According to relatives, Naeem had been suffering from mental problems for a long time. He drank pesticide in his room due to a dispute with his parents on the night of the incident. Later, he was rescued in a serious condition and taken to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead. The body has currently been kept at the hospital morgue for autopsy. Necessary legal proceedings are underway in this incident.

রাজধানীর হাজারীবাগ থানা এলাকায় কীটনাশক পান করে নাঈম (১৯) নামের এক যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। শনিবার (১২ এপ্রিল) রাত ১২টার দিকে সনাতনগড় এলাকার মধুবাজারে রানা বেকারির পাশের একটি বাসায় এ ঘটনা ঘটে। স্বজনদের বরাতে জানা যায়, নাঈম দীর্ঘদিন ধরে মানসিক সমস্যায় ভুগছিলেন। ঘটনার রাতে বাবা-মায়ের সঙ্গে মনোমালিন্যের জেরে নিজ কক্ষে কীটনাশক পান করেন তিনি। পরে গুরুতর অবস্থায় তাকে উদ্ধার করে ঢাকা মেডিক্যাল কলেজ হাসপাতালের জরুরি বিভাগে নেওয়া হলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। বর্তমানে মরদেহ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য হাসপাতালের মর্গে রাখা হয়েছে। এ ঘটনায় প্রয়োজনীয় আইনগত প্রক্রিয়া চলমান রয়েছে।
