Police said that the youth had tied a brick around the dog's neck from the Nagriyakandi Bridge around 11:30am the previous day on Wednesday. A video of the incident later went viral on social media Facebook, and it came to the attention of the police, after which he was arrested from his own area on Thursday afternoon.
