Youth held with 'toy pistol' from Inqilab Mancha movement

A youth has been detained with a 'toy pistol' from the side of the protest demanding the arrest and speedy trial of the killers of Inqilab Mancha convener Sharif Osman Hadi.

Police said that the youth,Arafat Zaman, hailed from Jigatola under Dhanmondi Police Station in the capital.

Shahbag Police Station OC Moniruzzaman told the media on Monday night that a toy pistol was found from the youth.
'However, he is being interrogated to find out why he came here with the toy pistol. The youth studies at the University of Wales in the United Kingdom.'

However, the law enforcement agencies did not immediately provide details on whether the detained person has any involvement against the blockade programme.
