Youth rally tomorrow on 50th founding anniversary of Jubo Union

Bangladesh Jubo Union will organise homage, a rally and youth assembly in the capital marking its 50th founding anniversary on Friday (August 28).

On the occasion of the founding anniversary, homage will be paid to all the martyrs of the country at the Central Shaheed Minar at 4pm under the initiative of the organisation’s central committee. Later a rally will start from the Shaheed Minar and proceed to Shahbagh where the youth assembly will be held.

Central leaders of Bangladesh Jubo Union will address the assembly.

The organisation has informed that Bangladesh Jubo Union was established on August 28, 1976 after the political change in Bangladesh with the pledge to establish a Bangladesh of the aspirations of the great Liberation War. Since its establishment the organisation has been playing a role in the movement for education, work, protection of national resources and sovereignty and establishment of a Bangladesh of the aspirations of the Liberation War.

Organisers said leaders and activists of the organisation as well as people of different classes and professions will take part in the programmes of the 50th founding anniversary.

Bangladesh Jubo Union has requested reporters, camerapersons and photographers of different media to be present to cover the programmes of the founding anniversary.
