21-year-old Hridoy is the son of Babu Akand of Fulbari Madhyapara area.
Hridoy's uncle Dablu Akand, a resident of Fulbari Uttarpara area, said that Robin, son of Abdul Jalil of Fulbari Madhyapara area, stabbed Hridoy to death. Robin came and took Hridoy from his house in the morning. At that time, 7-8 youths were with Robin. They were talking with Hridoy in a crop field in the middle of the Fulbari area. At one point, Robin stabbed Hridoy there. Hridoy is the same age as Robin. They had a friendly relationship.
When asked about the reason for the stabbing, Dablu said that a mobile phone was missing from Robin's house. He suspected that Hridoy had stolen it. Based on this assumption, Hridoy was stabbed to death.

There are also allegations of drug use and sale against them. Hridoy could have been killed due to some conflict among themselves.
