Police recovered the body of an unidentified young man, approximately 30 years old, from beneath a flyover in Gazipur's Tongi on Sunday morning (November 9). The body was spotted around 9:00am near Pillar 68 of the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) project on Tongi Station Road. Police, led by SI Mohammad Ali of Tongi West Police Station, retrieved the body and took it to the station. Preliminary investigations suggest the victim may have been killed elsewhere and dumped under the flyover. Signs of injury were found on the body. Harun Or Rashid, officer-in-charge (OC) of Tongi West Police Station, said, "The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has been notified, and efforts are underway to identify the deceased using fingerprints." &nbsp;

গাজীপুরের টঙ্গীতে উড়ালসেতুর নিচ থেকে এক অজ্ঞাত যুবকের (বয়স আনুমানিক ৩০) মরদেহ উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। রোববার সকাল ৯টার দিকে বাস র‌্যাপিড ট্রানজিট (বিআরটি) প্রকল্পের টঙ্গী স্টেশন রোডের নিচে মরদেহটি পড়ে থাকতে দেখা যায়। ঘটনার খবর পেয়ে টঙ্গী পশ্চিম থানার উপপরিদর্শক (এসআই) মোহাম্মদ আলী মরদেহ উদ্ধারের বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেছেন। স্থানীয়দের বরাতে পুলিশ জানায়, সকালে বিআরটি প্রকল্পের ৬৮ নম্বর পিলারের পাশে মরদেহটি দেখতে পান পথচারীরা। খবর পেয়ে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছে মরদেহটি উদ্ধার করে থানায় নেয়। প্রাথমিকভাবে ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, দুর্বৃত্তরা অন্য কোথাও হত্যা করে মরদেহটি সেতুর নিচে ফেলে গেছে। টঙ্গী পশ্চিম থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) হারুন অর রশিদ বলেন, নিহতের পরিচয় শনাক্তে পুলিশ ব্যুরো অব ইনভেস্টিগেশন (পিবিআই) সদস্যদের খবর দেয়া হয়েছে। আঙুলের ছাপ সংগ্রহ করে পরিচয় শনাক্তের চেষ্টা চলছে। মরদেহে আঘাতের&nbsp;চিহ্ন&nbsp;রয়েছে।
