Yunus holds meeting with Malaysia’s Education Minister
Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus met with Malaysia’s Education Minister, YB Fadhlina Sidek, during his official visit to the country. The meeting took place on Wednesday at the Chief Adviser’s accommodation in Kuala Lumpur.
The Chief Adviser’s press wing confirmed the meeting, highlighting the ongoing efforts to strengthen educational and bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Malaysia.
Professor Yunus arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (August 11) for a three-day state visit at the invitation of Malaysia’s Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
On Tuesday (August 12), Professor Yunus held a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim at the Prime Minister’s Office in Putrajaya. The two leaders discussed enhancing cooperation in various sectors. Subsequently, Bangladesh and Malaysia signed five memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and three exchange of notes agreements aimed at boosting bilateral collaboration.
The Chief Adviser is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on Wednesday (August 13).
This visit marks another milestone in the strengthening of diplomatic and developmental ties between the two countries.
