Yunus invites Trump to visit Bangladesh
Chief Adviser of the interim government Dr. Muhammad Yunus has invited US President Donald Trump to visit Bangladesh at a convenient time.
Dr. Yunus extended the invitation on Tuesday (September 23) while attending a reception hosted by President Trump in New York, where he is currently visiting to join the UN General Assembly.
At the event, he also exchanged greetings with Spain’s King Felipe VI, Japan’s Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, UN Secretary-General António Guterres, and Bhutanese Prime Minister Lotay Tshering.
Additionally, Dr. Yunus held separate discussions with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and US Special Envoy for South and Central Asia Sergio Goré.
