10 DMP officers posted to new responsibilities

Ten officers of the rank of Additional Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have been posted to new responsibilities.

According to DMP sources, the postings were made through two separate orders signed by DMP Commissioner (Acting) Md Sarwar.

According to the orders, Assistant Commissioner (Detective-Lalbagh Division) Enayet Kabir Soeb has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Detective-Mirpur Division), and Assistant Commissioner (Detective-Wari Division) M M Sabuj Rana as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Detective-Uttara Division).

Additionally, Assistant Commissioner (Diplomatic Security Division) Ariful Islam Sarkar has been posted to Ramapura Zone under Traffic Motijheel Division, Assistant Commissioner (City Cyber Crime Investigation Division) Imranul Islam to Sabujbagh Zone under Motijheel Division, and Assistant Commissioner (Traffic Sabujbagh Zone) Tawfiq Ahmed to Khilgaon Zone under Motijheel Division.

Assistant Commissioner (Detective-Cyber and Special Crime Division-North) Jannatul Ferdous has been posted to Traffic Sabujbagh Zone, Assistant Commissioner (Equipment-Logistics Division) Md Saidur Rahman Sheikh to Tejgaon Industrial Area Zone.

Furthermore, Assistant Commissioner (POM-East Division) Shuvro Dev has been posted to Dhanmondi Zone under Traffic Ramna Division, Assistant Commissioner (Prosecution Division) Hasan Rashed Parag to Petrol-Uttara West under Uttara Division, and Assistant Commissioner (Traffic Rampura Zone) A K M Noshrut Hasan to Demra Zone under Traffic Wari Division.

DMP said these postings have been made to further streamline administrative activities.
