10 senior police officials transferred

Ten high-ranking officials of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. Among them, five hold the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police, and five are Assistant Superintendents of Police.

The transfers were announced in two separate notifications signed by Additional DIG Raihan Uddin Khan on Tuesday (August 11).

According to the notifications, Police Headquarters Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Zakaria Rahman has been transferred to Shariatpur, and Police Headquarters Additional Superintendent of Police Kazi Md. Salahuddin to Chandpur. Chandpur Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Lutfor Rahman has been transferred to Cumilla, and Rangpur Metropolitan Police Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Shariful Alam to Rangpur.

Additionally, Md. Istiak Ahmed, who was promoted to the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police and joined the Police Headquarters following a mission, has been transferred as the Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) in Barguna.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner of Police Sagar Sarker has been transferred to the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). Mymensingh SAF Assistant Superintendent of Police Tahmina Akter has been transferred to the Phulpur Circle in Mymensingh, and Phulpur Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Rakibur Rahman to the Pangsha Circle in Rajbari.

Chattogram Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner of Police Siraj Ud Doula has been transferred to the Highway Police, and Rangamati Rajasthali Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Md. Nurul Amin has been transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police.
