11 Bangladeshi officers to travel to Pakistan for training
Eleven joint secretaries, including an additional secretary, will travel to Pakistan to participate in an executive development programme for senior Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) officers.
An order signed by Deputy Secretary Md Mahmud Ullah Maruf of the Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday confirmed the information.
According to the order from the ministry's foreign training wing, the officers will receive training at the Civil Services Academy in Lahore. The training will run from May 4 to May 21.
All expenses of the training will be borne by the Pakistan government. No funds from the Bangladesh government will be spent.
The officers will depart for Pakistan at a convenient time close to May 4. The training period and travel time will be considered official duty.
After completing the training, the officers must join their respective workplaces promptly and submit a report to the foreign training wing within five days.
