13 senior police officers transferred

Thirteen senior officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred. Of them, seven hold the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police and six are Assistant Superintendents of Police.

The transfer orders were issued through three separate gazette notifications signed by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Ali Hossain Fakir on Wednesday (August 19).

According to the notifications, Additional Superintendent of Police of Tourist Police Nadia Farzana has been posted to RAB, Additional Superintendent of Police of Police Staff College Arifa Ashraf Pinki to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP), Additional Superintendent of Police of Rajbari Sadar Circle Shahidul Islam to Bandarban Sadar Circle, and Additional Superintendent of Police of CID Abu Taleb to Kalapara Circle in Patuakhali.

Meanwhile, Assistant Superintendent of Police of RAB Md Mahfuzur Rahman has been transferred to Baghaichhari Circle in Rangamati, HM Golam Rabbani to Shailkupa Circle in Jhenaidah, ARM Mozaffar Hossain to Mirsarai Circle in Chattogram, and Md Mashiur Rahman Sohel to Fakirhat Circle in Bagerhat.

In addition, Assistant Superintendent of Police of Fakirhat Circle Md Rashedul Islam Rana has been posted to Mehendiganj Circle in Barishal, and Assistant Superintendent of Police of Shailkupa Circle Md Akhtaruzzaman to Tala Circle in Satkhira.

In another notification, Additional Deputy Police Commissioner of DMP Md Mostafizur Rahman and Additional Superintendent of Police of SB Md Ashikur Rahman Khan have been transferred to TR posts at Police Headquarters. At the same time, Additional Superintendent of Police of Noakhali PTC Khandaker Rabiul Arafat has been attached to Betbunia PSTS in Rangamati.
