13-member committee formed to look into problems of 7 colleges
The Ministry of Education has formed a 13-member committee to solve the academic and administrative problems of seven government colleges in the capital affiliated to Dhaka University (DU).
The committee has been asked to give necessary recommendations within the next six weeks.
This information is known from the office order signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Md Shahinur Rahman.
According to the office order, additional secretary (college division) Mohammad Khaled Rahim convened the committee while deputy secretary Md Shahinur Rahman is the member secretary.
The scope of work of the committee states -- identification of academic and administrative problems of seven colleges affiliated to Dhaka University; and formulate necessary recommendations to resolve identified issues. The committee will formulate the necessary recommendations within the next 6 weeks and may co-opt the required number of members to facilitate the work of the committee.
