13th parliament session adjourned until March 29

The First Session of the 13th National Parliament has been adjourned until March 29.

Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed (Bir Bikram) made the announcement at the end of the second day of proceedings of the 13th parliament on Sunday (March 15).

The next sitting would be held at 3:00pm on March 29, he said, thanking lawmakers for their cooperation during the session.

The day’s proceedings began at 11:00am with the recitation from the Holy Quran, with Speaker Hafiz Uddin Ahmed presiding over the session.

Leader of the House and Prime Minister Tarique Rahman and Leader of the Opposition Party Shafiqur Rahman were present during the sitting.

The first session of the 13th parliament began on March 12.
