14 judges promoted to additional district judge posts

Fourteen joint district judges have been promoted to the position of additional district judges following consultations with the Bangladesh Supreme Court.

Kamrul Hasan, senior assistant secretary (Administration) of the Justice Branch-5 of the Law and Justice Department, issued the promotion order with the approval of the relevant authorities on Sunday (January 26).

Along with the promotion, they have been transferred as attached officers to the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs.

The promoted judges were including SM Masud Aman, Begum Selina Akhter, Begum Farhana Bhuiyan, Mohammad Abdul Hai, Asim Kumar Dey, Begum Khaleda Yasmin, Abdul Quddus, Mosa. Rubina Parveen, Begum Sanjida Afreen Diba, Md. Abdullah Al Mamun, Md. Kamruzzaman Mohammad Nezam Uddin, Mohammad Siraj Uddin Iqbal, and Md. Shahinur Rahman.
