2 bodies recovered from private car in Dhaka

Police, on Monday afternoon (August 11), have recovered two bodies from a private car, holding serial no. Dhaka Metro 363745, parked at Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College in the capital's Mouchaak.

CID, and RAB officials were present at the scene. It is believed that two individuals died from serious injuries sustained inside the car, which was parked in the hospital's basement.

According to eyewitnesses, one body was found in the driver's seat and the other in the back seat, both males, with crushed faces and heads, while the rest of their bodies remained intact.

Mizan, the security in-charge of the medical college, said, "The car entered the parking lot around 7:00am. When I went to the basement at 11:00am, I discovered the two bodies. Neither the car nor the individuals were familiar to us."

Confirming the matter, Ramna Police Station Duty Officer Afsana, said, "Details regarding this will be disclosed later."
