3 secretary-level changes at President's Office, other posts

The government has made changes to three secretary-level posts, including a transfer of Rafiqul I Mohammad, who had been moved to the President's Office just 11 days ago. He has now been appointed Secretary of the Rural Development and Co-operatives Division.

The changes were announced in separate notifications from the Ministry of Public Administration on Friday, a weekly holiday.

According to the notifications, Rural Development and Co-operatives Division Secretary Md Shawkat Rashid Chowdhury has been made Chairman (Secretary) of the Land Reform Board. Land Reform Board Chairman A J M Salahuddin Nagari has been made Secretary of the President's Office (Public Relations Division).

Earlier, on August 10, the government had made changes to the posts of Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and the President's Office. Rafiqul I Mohammad, who was serving as Agriculture Secretary on a contractual basis, was made Secretary of the President's Office. At the same time, Additional Secretary Md Selim Khan was promoted to Secretary of the Agriculture Ministry.

The then Secretary of the President's Office, Khan Md Noorul Amin, was attached to the Ministry of Public Administration.
