Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) and joint forces in a drive have arrested 35 people, including top drug peddler ‘Picchi Raja’, from Geneva camp in Mohammadpur in the capital. Among the accused, three female drug dealers have also been arrested. According to RAB, a large number of local firearms, bullets and drugs were recovered in the operation. RAB-2 Senior Assistant Director (Media) Shihab Karim informed this to the media on Sunday (September 29) afternoon. He said, the raid took place in Geneva camp on Sunday morning. RAB-2 and joint forces conducted the operation. During the raid, a large quantity of local weapons, two pistols, 20 rounds of bullets and drugs were recovered. Besides, 35 people including three women drug dealers and top drug dealer ‘Picchi Raja’ were arrested.

রাজধানীর মোহাম্মদপুরের জেনেভা ক্যাম্পে অভিযান চালিয়ে বিপুল পরিমাণ দেশীয় অস্ত্র,পিস্তল, গুলিসহ মাদক উদ্ধার করেছে র‌্যাব-২ ও যৌথবাহিনী। এ সময় শীর্ষ মাদক কারবারি পিচ্চি রাজাসহ ৩৫ জনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। এরমধ‌্যে রয়েছেন তিন নারী মাদক কারবারি। রবিবার (২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) বিকেলে র‌্যাব-২-এর সিনিয়র সহকারী পরিচালক (মিডিয়া) শিহাব করিম গণমাধ্যমকে এ তথ্য জানান। তিনি জানান, রবিবার সকালে জেনেভা ক্যাম্পে র‌্যাব-২ ও যৌথবাহিনী এ অভিযান পরিচালনা করে। অভিযানে বিপুল পরিমাণ দেশীয় অস্ত্র, দুটি পিস্তল, ২০ রাউন্ড গুলি ও মাদক উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে। এছাড়া তিন নারী মাদক কারবারি ও শীর্ষ মাদক ব্যবসায়ী পিচ্চি রাজাসহ ৩৫ জনকে আটক করা হয়েছে।
