354 expatriate students pass SSC exams from overseas centres
A total of 354 Bangladeshi students living abroad have passed this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations, with an overall pass rate of 88.06 percent at overseas examination centres, according to results released Monday (August 10).
Of the 402 students who sat for the examinations from abroad, 354 passed while 48 failed.
The examinations were conducted under special arrangements at nine overseas centres, allowing expatriate students to sit for the SSC examinations without returning to Bangladesh.
Two institutions recorded a 100 percent pass rate, meaning all their candidates passed. However, one institution recorded a zero pass rate, with none of its candidates succeeding.
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan announced the results at a press conference at the Secondary and Higher Education Division’s conference room under the Education Ministry at around 10:00am.
The overseas results were released alongside the national SSC and equivalent examination results, marking the end of the examination process for Bangladeshi students studying abroad.
