44th BCS final result released

Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the supplementary and integrated final results of the 44th BCS. The PSC has provisionally nominated a total of 1,681 candidates for appointment in various cadres.

The PSC released a notification regarding this on Thursday (November 6) night.

PSC Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman said that after reviewing the previously announced results of the 44th BCS Examination-2021, these supplementary results have been released based on the applications of the candidates who have given written declarations about not taking the nomination of the same cadre or a lower cadre in preference.

According to the revised rules issued by the Ministry of Public Administration, it can be seen that 303 candidates nominated in the 44th BCS cadre are already working in any cadre through the previous BCS, and they have announced that they will not join the post they currently have or a post in a lower preference.

As a result, now—260 candidates have been excluded from the final recommendation list. According to it, 43 candidates have been transferred to higher cadres according to their preference while 257 new candidates have been nominated in different cadres according to merit to fill the vacant posts. In this process, the recommendations of cadre posts of a total of 113 candidates have changed.

In the final result, 250 people have received recommendations in the administration cadre, 10 in the foreign cadre, 50 in the police cadre, 14 in the ansar cadre, 30 in the audit and accounts cadre, 11 in the tax cadre, 8 in the cooperatives, 7 in the railway cadre, 10 in the information cadre, 23 in the postal cadre, 6 in the commerce cadre, 27 in the family planning cadre and 3 in the food cadre.
