47th BCS final results published, 1,320 recommended for cadre posts

The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the final results of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination. A total of 1,521 candidates have been recommended for temporary appointment, including 1,320 for various cadre posts and 201 for non-cadre positions.

The final results were published on the PSC website on Sunday, June 28.

According to PSC sources, the final verification and compilation of marks were carried out swiftly after the viva voce. Although the results were initially planned for the first week of July, they were published earlier as technical and administrative work was completed ahead of schedule.

Earlier, 3,631 candidates passed the written examination of the 47th BCS. Their viva voce was conducted from May onwards.

The PSC has said preparations are underway to implement its 'One BCS, One Year' roadmap to reduce the lengthy BCS recruitment process. The policy is expected to be fully implemented from the 50th BCS.
