47th BCS written exam results released, 3631 candidates pass
The Public Service Commission (PSC) has released the results of the 47th BCS written exam. 3,631 candidates have provisionally passed it. This information was given in a PSC press release on Tuesday (April 7).
The release stated that the written exam was held simultaneously in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet, Rangpur and Mymensingh centers from November 27 to December 18 last year. The complete results of the exam and relevant information can be found on the PSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd).
Candidates who passed the written exam will now have to take part in the oral exam (viva). The PSC said that the schedule of the oral exam will be announced later through the commission's website and newspapers.
It is to be noted that 10,644 candidates who passed the preliminary exam of the 47th BCS took part in the written exam. A total of 3,688 people, including cadre and non-cadre, are scheduled to be recruited through this BCS. According to the commission sources, the activities are progressing towards the roadmap announced by the PSC earlier to complete a BCS within a year.
