5 senior police officers transferred

Five officers of the Bangladesh Police of the rank of Additional Superintendent of Police and Assistant Superintendent of Police have been transferred.

The order was issued in a notification signed by the Additional DIG of the Personnel Management-1 branch of Police Headquarters on Saturday, September 12.

According to the notification, Additional Superintendent of Police Iftekhar Hasan Amin has been transferred from Cumilla to the Special Branch in Dhaka as Additional Superintendent of Police. Additional Superintendent of Police Md Naim Abdullah has been posted to the Tourist Police as Additional Superintendent of Police from the Bera Circle in Pabna.

Additionally, Additional Superintendent of Police Piyas Basak has been transferred from the Nabinagar Circle in Brahmanbaria to the Industrial Police as Additional Superintendent of Police.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Shyamali Rani Barman has been transferred from the Sapahar Circle in Naogaon to the Industrial Police as Assistant Superintendent of Police, while Assistant Superintendent of Police Md Rakibbur Rahman has been transferred from the Khulna Range DIG office to the Madhabpur Circle in Habiganj as Assistant Superintendent of Police.

The notification stated that the transferred officers must hand over their current responsibilities and be released to join their new workplaces by September 22. If they fail to hand over responsibilities within the stipulated time, they will be considered immediately released from September 23.
