6 Bangladesh Army peacekeepers killed in Sudan terrorist attack

A terrorist attack has taken place at a base of the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Sudan's Abyei region, leaving six Bangladesh Army peacekeepers dead and eight others injured.

The identities of the army members was not disclosed immediately.

Confirming the incident, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that a fighting situation is currently prevailing at the scene.

The peacekeepers of the Bangladesh Army have been performing their duties faithfully for a long time to maintain peace and stability in Sudan's Abyei region.
