6 more die with measles symptoms, 1,316 new patients

Six people have died with measles symptoms across the country in the last 24 hours. During the same period, 1,316 people were newly infected with suspected and confirmed measles.

The information was provided in a press release sent from the Directorate General of Health Services' control room on Tuesday, September 14.

It said that in the last 24 hours, the number of patients identified with measles symptoms was 1,239, and the total number of measles patients from March 15 to September 15 was 173,959.

In the last 24 hours, the number of confirmed measles patients was 77, and the total number of confirmed measles patients from March 15 to September 15 was 20,201.

From March 15 to September 15, a total of 153,279 people were hospitalised with measles symptoms.

During the same period, 147,386 people recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

In the last 24 hours, six people died with measles symptoms, and from March 15 to September 15, a total of 936 children died with measles symptoms.

No one died from confirmed measles in the last 24 hours, and from March 15 to September 15, 100 people died from confirmed measles.
