8 including Anisul Haque, Dipu Moni shown arrested in fresh cases

Former Law Minister Anisul Haque and former Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni were arrested in separate murder cases of Jatrabari Police Station during the student-public movement. Police produced them from jail to the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. Then, an application was made to show their arrest in these cases. In view of this, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sefatullah granted the application to show their arrest in these cases.

Others shown arrested are - former Social Welfare Minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed, former advisor to ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Salman F Rahman, former MP from Bhola-2 constituency Ali Azam Mukul, former MP from Bhola-4 constituency Abdullah Al Islam Jacob, former MP from Dhaka-7 constituency Haji Mohammad Selim and former IGP of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun.
